IP Australia is considering a review of the fees payable in respect of its administration of intellectual property registration system for things like trade Mark, Designs, Patents and the like. IP Australia is obliged to recover the costs of administering the system from users of the system.
IP Australia is seeking input from users of the commercial property rights registration system prior to finalising its new fee structure. Some fees may actually be less, over time.
